Founded in 1995, Geneva-based Roger Dubuis is firmly anchored in the twenty-first century.
The Roger Dubuis brand is born as a partnership between watchmaker Roger Dubuis and designer Carlos Dias. In the same year, the Roger Dubuis manufacture signifies its intent by releasing two luxury watch collections: Hommage and Sympathy. These collections bear the brand’s signature combination of delicate technical ability and bold design.
A desire for independence and watchmaking excellence is at the heart of the company which is renowned for its audacious, limited edition creations. Eclectic and decidedly modern, classic watchmaking traditions are blended with an appreciation for refinement, architecture and technical finesse. The resulting exuberant and distinct worlds, Excalibur, Hommage, Velvet, La Monégasque and Pulsion merge haute joaillerie with finest watchmaking skills. It is with a contemporary spirit that Roger Dubuis continues to demonstrate a consistent capacity to surprise and appeal.
The brand reveals a daring new movement – the Quatuor. It sits inside the Excalibur Quatuor, the first silicon wristwatch to feature four sprung balance wheels. 2013 also sees the launch of Excalibur Knights of the Round Table, an astonishing luxury watch utilising perfect sculptures of Arthur’s famous knights instead of hour markers. Each knight is seen from above, pointing his sword towards the middle of the table. This piece utilises Roger Dubuis’ automatic RD821 movement.
